$30,000 MATCH CHALLENGE
Dear Friends,
The Bart J. Ruggiere Adaptive Sports Center provides people with cognitive and physical disabilities and their families the opportunity to enjoy both winter and summer sports. The center runs programs at Bromley, Stratton, and The Hermitage. Last season, the center conducted over 500 ski and snowboard lessons.
With the motto, “The Only Limits That Anyone Has Are The Limits That They Set Themselves,” the Bart Center focuses on making sure people of all ages living with disabilities have access to outdoor sports. From small children who finally get to ski or snowboard with their families to veterans who thought they’d never be able to ski again, the center has witnessed the direct, positive impact that sports can have on quality of life, including combating obesity and building self-confidence.

We have received a DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR match up to $30,000 through January 10, 2021
We are reaching out today to ask for your compassion and consideration as we look forward to our 19th year of service. Like so many other non-profits, the Bart Center is amid the most challenging of times. COVID-19 forced our programs to come to an abrupt stop last winter, and in turn, our summer programming was not at full capacity.
Additionally, several of the Bart Center’s in-person fundraisers had to be canceled this winter. As a non-profit, that relies heavily on events to secure the funds needed to deliver crucial programming, your support is needed now more than ever. Your contribution will allow people who rely on the Bart Center as a resource to continue to thrive without limits. If you make your donation before January 10, 2021, it will be doubled in value. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and are valued.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
Sincerely,
