Welcome
The Bart J Ruggiere Adaptive Sports Center offers ski and snowboard lessons for people that have a cognitive and/or physical disability at Bromley, Stratton and The Hermitage Mountains. The Bart Adaptive Sports Center has a dedicated corps of over 50 highly trained volunteers, many of whom are PSIA Certified, that provide lessons using the latest in adaptive techniques and equipment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide people with disabilities and their families the opportunity to enjoy outdoor sports with a special focus on snow sports.

This year, due to the pandemic, our Wounded Military Heroes Weekend was canceled. For the past several years, we have had an amazing weekend of ski lessons for the families, free lodging, and a banquet honoring the veterans.
The work of the Bart Center has not stopped. We continue to offer one-on-one ski and snowboard lessons to our Veterans and other people with disabilities- so they can experience the thrill of winter sports.
We need your help to keep providing our programming to these brave men, women and their families. Please consider making a donation and sharing this great video of our 2020 event on Facebook.
