Important information for Students and Parents
- Face covering if possible
- Wear layers of non-cotton winter clothes
- Neck gaiter or Balaclava or even a long turtleneck to help protect the chin from the weather (No long scarfs)
- Goggles or Sunglasses (if you have them)
- Sunblock or Dermatome for protection from sun and wind
- Bring a water bottle, or hot chocolate
- Snack if desired
When I arrive Where do I go?
- All students will meet at the Bart Adaptive Sports Center Office located on the first floor of the base lodge of Bromley Mountain.
- Accessible Entrance drop off only is located in the lot with the gate, then we are through the double doors to your right with elevator access to all other floors in the lodge.
How Early should I arrive for my lesson ?
- When Arriving at Bromley to participate in Bart Adaptive Programming please check- in at the door located on the first floor in the base lodge. The entrance is through the gated Parking lot. We ask that only one person plus participant can enter the Bart Center for drop off and pick up. Please arrive at your scheduled time and not before. (There will not be a place to get ready so please come prepared to ski/ snowboard).

- Have your temperature taken
- Fill out the Covid -19 questionnaire (parents as well if joining lesson)
- Rentals or equipment fitting if needed will be done with instructor following paperwork
What happens if I am late or have to cancel?
- Call or email the Bart Adaptive Sports Center if you are going to be late or unable to attend lesson.

What If I don't have my own Ski or Snowboard Equipment?
- You will be given a link to fill out for your equipment prior to coming for lesson, then participant will go upstairs with instructor to rentals at the beginning of your lesson. You are required to wear a helmet during your ski or snowboard lesson so if you don't have your own please rent one as well.
How do I know who will be teaching my lesson?
- All of Bart Adaptive Sports Center activities are run by volunteers. So when you arrive you will find out who your instructor or Instructors will be for your lesson. Each lesson is matched with either a 1:1 or a 2:1 scenario depending on ability of student.
How long does lesson's last?
- Lessons typically run 2 -4 hours depending if it is a full day or half day lesson.
- Full day lesson consist of 2 Hours morning and afternoon. Lunch Not included
- Half Day Lesson consist of 2 hours, morning or afternoon.
- Please see the registration form for designated time slots.
- Parents or guardian will be given a time to meet back following the lesson.
- Parents or guardians are encouraged if desired to ski or snowboard with the instructor and student for a couple runs at the students ability level.
- If student is unable to participate for the full 2 hour session then the parent or guardian will be called from the coordinator for you to come pick up the participant.
